The Charlie
Berry Project
American Rock & Roll. Legacy in motion.
Carrying the sound
forward.
Charles "Charlie" Berry III, born 1994 in Saint Louis, is a guitarist, vocalist, and bandleader carrying a singular inheritance. He is the grandson of Chuck Berry, the pioneering architect of Rock & Roll. The Charlie Berry Project brings that lineage into a contemporary live setting, blending original artistry with the American songbook for audiences that span generations and continents.
Charlie honors the history without recreating it. The band is the active subject. Chuck's legacy is its ground.

Rooted in the songbook.
Alive in the room.
The Project blends the American songbook of Rock & Roll, blues, soul, and R&B with Charlie's own writing and interpretation. Arrangements are built for a live stage, not a museum.

A room, a band,
and the real thing.
Powerful musicianship, recognizable Rock & Roll heritage, and an audience connection that plays equally to lifelong fans and first-time listeners.
Four players.
One conversation.

Grandson of Chuck Berry. Guitarist, vocalist, and bandleader of the Project.

Saxophonist anchoring the Project's horn voice.

Keyboardist bridging vintage Rock & Roll tones and modern feel.

Drummer driving the Project's backbeat.
From Chuck Berry
to the present.
Chuck Berry's pioneering music continues to connect generations around the world. In The Charlie Berry Project, that foundational American story moves from historical memory into living performance, stewarded by family and played for the room in front of it.
The band holds a monthly residency at Blueberry Hill in the Delmar Loop, the St. Louis venue where Chuck Berry maintained a monthly residency for 17 years.
